Paging Adam Curry or Dave Winer
I've tried getting in touch with both of them to check out Prodigem from the Podcasters perspective as Prodigem is certainly a great way to democratize bandwidth and open the accessibility of podcasting to the average Joe. I haven't had much luck in getting a response from either. So, either they are both inundated with so much mail that they keep missing mine, or they are busy working on a solution of their own. Or, they could just not be interested, I guess. But they should be. Anyway, if anyone has a line into either and agrees with me that this is something that podcasters should be eager about, please spread the word. BitTorrent is definetly something that podcasters should be eager about! There are "iPodder" programs that support the .torrent extension, already. The best way that I have found to get Dave and Adam's attention is to ping thier sites. I was trying an experiment, myself, using Blog Torrent that didn't work out like I had planned. Before and during the testing, I had talked to Dave Slusher, who is a big advocate of BitTorrent. He has some great ideas, but he said that he has his BitTorrent solution figured out. Dave and Adam might be just as likely "not" to want to participate because they think they have all the bandwidth that they need. I'd try pinging them with one of your posts to get their attention, though. I bet they don't even read their mail as much as their blog links.
